An Evening at the Farm: A Celebration of Community & Food Access

Share this:

We’re still glowing from the joy and connection shared at An Evening at the Farm, our annual fundraiser for food access, held on a beautiful September evening.

On September 13th, more than 100 of you joined us for a night of community, inspiration, and celebration—and thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised nearly $20,000! That funding will go directly toward our mission of getting fresh, locally grown produce into the hands of neighbors who need it most. In fact, those funds will translate into 25,000 pounds of donated produce this fall—worth over $50,000!

Where Your Support Goes

Every dollar raised helps us:

  • Maintain our gardens
  • Support staff and volunteer coordination
  • Fund marketing and outreach
  • Cover fuel, delivery, and logistics

It’s all part of making local food access possible—for everyone.

A Night to Remember

We gathered around the bonfire under a starry sky, shared a meal prepared by some of the region’s top chefs using locally grown ingredients, enjoyed live music, and bid on an incredible lineup of silent auction items. The views were stunning, the company was even better, and the spirit of the night perfectly reflected what makes our community so special.

Because of your support, we’re one step closer to our ambitious goal: distributing 125,000+ pounds of fresh produce to 25+ food pantries across Connecticut. That’s not just food—it’s community-powered food equity in action. We have already surpassed 100,000 pounds!
