Who We Are
Real Food CT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy food. We are connecting local farms and hunger relief organizations in our region to eliminate hunger.
What We Do
We establish and manage Giving Gardens and we collect surplus produce from local farms, all for donation to local hunger-relief organizations. In addition, we train young farmer interns and run programs and events to support local agriculture and an equitable food system. This year we are building a Food Hub to create a much-needed supply chain connecting nutritious locally grown food to area schools, hospitals, and hunger-relief organizations.
Volunteer
Join a group of volunteers ready to grow and donate over 100,000 pounds of fresh produce to our neighbors in need in 2024. There are many ways to contribute, on and off the farm.

Real Food CT runs on the heart and soul of volunteers.
