Partner Opportunities

The more food we grow, the more we can donate.  If you are in within 30 minutes of Newtown and think your organization may be interested in becoming a production, education, or distribution partner please let us know.

Our efforts to provide the most nutritious food for our community will go farther and faster with your support.  Let us know if you or your company are interested in sponsoring part of our project.

We are excited to partner with like-minded organizations that are trying to make an impact in getting healthy food to people that need it.  We’d be happy to share data, techniques, strategies and more. Let us know if you want to team up.

Local Farmers

Message to local farmers:

You are the most important players in our local food system. Your work and efforts are invaluable. Here is how we can partner:

Surplus Pickup
If your farm, or farmers market you attend, is within a 15-mile radius of Newtown, CT, we are offering to pick up your excess harvest, and deliver it directly to those in need in our area. Not only will your food donations help people in need, you can also earn tax deductions at the end of the year. We provide an end-of-year summary for your donations.

Gleaning
We can help you make the last pass in your fields with our teams of volunteers and interns.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please contact me for more details. Thank you for your time and all that you do for our local food system!
