If you are a farm with excess produce, please contact us so that we may add you as a donation partner. At our booth at the Newtown, CT Farmers Market we collect food from home growers and market shoppers who donate food purchased from market vendors. Learn More

Real Food CT is an entirely volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization that grows and donates fresh food to those in need. Your donation will go to the costs of our greenhouse, farm stands, seeds, equipment, refrigeration, transportation costs, internship stipends, and educational workshops.

• $20 – Plants a row of seeds at one of community farm and garden locations
• $50 – Goes toward our equipment needs for harvesting, aggregating and delivering locally produced foods throughout CT
• $100 – Supports a day of key operational Food Hub staff wages
• $200 – Goes toward the transportation and gas mileage costs associated with RFCT’s direct delivery of donations to recipients
• $500 – Goes toward critical infrastructure investments for Food Hub operations and community farm production sites including cold storage and food packing stations.
• $1,000 – Goes toward supporting educational opportunities for farm and food seasonal interns and our upcoming first year-round apprentice(s) interested in hands-on experience in agriculture and food systems
