PPRESS RELEASE: RealFoodCT is hosting an afternoon of music, games, discovery, and creative adventure on Sunday June 4 from 12 to 4 pm at Sticks and Stones, 171 Huntingtown Road, Newtown. Families will be able to tour the farm and hiking paths, visit with llamas, go on a scavenger hunt, and build a fairy house. The fabulous Blue Yodels will provide music and the amazing Artisan Food Truck will be on hand.
This is the first event of the season for RealFoodCT, a nonprofit founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to healthy food. Organic produce is grown in two Giving Gardens and donated to hunger relief organizations and communities in need. RFCT is also committed to training young farmers and educating and energizing a growing community of people who care about healthy food.
