Waldingfield Farm is a historic farm located in Washington, CT.  Quincy Horan and his brothers reclaimed their great grandfather’s farmland in 1990 long after it had waned in the decline of the dairy industry after WW2.  They started farming just an acre and since then have created a certified organic farm that is one of the largest in CT with 46 acres.  They offer a CSA, and you will find them at the farmers market in Greenpoint, Brooklyn as well as New Haven, Southbury, Washington, and Newtown, CT.

On the property they have a large barn event space that they recently repurposed due to COVID into a farm stand food hub.  They offered the opportunity for other farmers within a 70-mile radius to also sell their products here. Farm stand is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00- 4:00. You will find over 120 varieties of heirloom tomatoes which they are very proud of!

Check them out online at Waldingfieldfarm.com.  They love having visitors and sharing what they do. They are located at 24 East Street, Washington, CT.  At Waldingfield Farm you will see their beautiful fields and greenhouses and the get the best CT crops.  Shopping local is the best investment you can make to strengthen the local food system.
