Support the local food system by visiting Monroe’s Farmers Market. They are located on the Town Green, at the corner of Fan Hill Road and Route 111 in Monroe, Connecticut. Open every Friday from 3:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. from June 18th through October 22nd, they offer fresh, locally-grown produce, baked goods, prepared foods and hand-crafted products. Vegetables, pizza, Italian ice, pickles, wine, beer, popcorn, fresh meat…they have quite a wide variety! The Market Manager Kelly, and all the volunteers are looking forward to seeing you.

The Monroe Market supports CT farmers and provides the community with access to locally produced goods and fresh, healthy seasonal foods. All of the products are grown or made in Connecticut, by people who care deeply about the land and make thoughtful, conscientious choices for its stewardship. Each week you will also find a wide range of family activities, including live entertainment, demos by local chefs, food tastings and youth activities. Visit the Events Page for information. There is also plenty of shade on the Town Green, which is a wonderful gathering place for the community. A complete list of vendors and products offered can be found here: Vendors Page.
