PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER
Monday–Friday Mornings | Approx. 20 Hours/Week | Based in Newtown, CT
We are seeking a reliable, part-time Seasonal Delivery Driver to support our food distribution and farm pickup operations. This role is essential to ensuring fresh produce moves safely and efficiently from farms to food pantry partners.
The schedule is weekday mornings into early afternoon, with some flexibility for weather-related changes or route adjustments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a Real Food CT delivery vehicle for farm pickups and pantry drop-offs
- Complete delivery routes across the Danbury, Bridgeport, and the Valley regions
- Accurately track pickup and delivery locations, quantities, and weights
- Ensure proper handling and food-safe transport of produce
- Communicate proactively with RFCT staff regarding routes, timing, or issues
- Must also be able to assist with some farm work and gleaning trips when delivery hours allow. Farm/garden experience a bonus, but not required.

PART-TIME FARMER (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)
Seasonal | 8–10 Hours per Week | May–October | Based in Fairfield County, CT
We are hiring two part-time farmers to support the operation of our community farm sites throughout the 2026 growing season. This role is ideal for experienced gardeners, farmers, or horticulture professionals who enjoy working independently, value consistency, and are comfortable managing day-to-day farm tasks with weekly guidance and support from our team.
Farmers will be responsible for the core activities that keep our community farms productive, healthy, and well-organized from late spring through fall.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planting and transplanting crops
- Weeding, mulching, and general field maintenance
- Watering and irrigation oversight
- Harvesting and post-harvest handling
- Seed starting and greenhouse work
- Fertilizing and basic soil health practices
- Pest and disease monitoring and management
- Following weekly crop plans and task lists
- Maintaining clean, organized farm spaces
